DESCRIPTION:
This course is an introduction to human motor learning and control, and focuses on the cognitive, emotional, and neurological processes that underlie human movement. The learning of motor skills and the factors that influence the acquisition, control, and performance of motor skills are topics discussed within this course. Students will gain knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of the conceptual and empirical foundations of motor learning and control in a variety of settings, including movement and activities of daily living.
